Postby HaiRy----x » Thu Oct 13, 2011 1:25 am

hello, i am using the Thomson TG782T and i am trying to open the ports for 'PS3 Call of Duty: World at War', but after i go into game and app sharing then make new application, i put the ports in i click add, then apply and they disappear and they dont work. Im really annoyed. Any ideas why its doing this?

#1 In the router go to Toolbox -> Games & Applications

#2 If you do not have at least two special computers that support UPnP where you can not define the ports that they use, turn off Universal Plug and Play (UPnP).

A perfect example. At least two game consoles. Any two (Two Xboxes, two Playstations, One Xbox and one Playstation).

As need be, go to Toolbox -> Games & Applications -> Configure

#3 In the router go to Broadband Connection

#4 In the router at that screen, you should see the same IP Address that you saw at http://ipv4.whatismyv6.com

#5 If not, then please report back that fact.

#6 In the router go to Home Network -> Interfaces -> Local Network

#7 What is the DHCP Starting and DHCP Ending IP Address?

#1 As directed, find the DHCP range in the router.

#2 What is the DHCP Range?

THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS

INTERFACE-LOCAL NETWORK
Interface group: lan

TCP/IP CONFIGURATION
Technicolor gateway address 10.0.0.###/##
DHCP FIRST ADDRESS 10.0.0.1
DHCP SECOND ADDRESS 10.0.0.137
DHCP LEASE TIME 1 DAY 0:00:00
Auto-IP: disabled
DHCP Server: enabled

#4 In the router at that screen, you should see the same IP Address that you saw at http://ipv4.whatismyv6.com
it is the same

Ok.

#1 On the computer that you want to host on, setup a Static IP.

a) http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

b) That Static IP has to be above the DHCP SECOND ADDRESS of 10.0.0.137 but not the same the LAN IP of the router and below 10.0.0.254

Some example(s)

#1 If the router is at 10.0.0.138, then the IP Address has to between 10.0.0.139 and 10.0.0.254.

#2 If the router is at 10.0.0.254, then the IP Address has to between 10.0.0.138 and 10.0.0.253.

--

#2 In the router, forward to the IP Address that you setup on your computer.
