I'm in Italy and my router is something apparently only common here. ;( I can't get port forwarding with uTorrent to work. I can download okay (though my speeds suck) but I'm not connectible as a seed.
I did the static IP thing and as far as I could tell, it made zero difference (though I only had one DNS entry from my router instead of two). I DO have the NAT setting in my router configured to allow my IP on the uTorrent port, but I still get the port forwarding error when I do a check.
The PFConfig software doesn't list Kraun, even though it's listed on the page (well not my model but A Kraun model...and the router admin page looks exactly the same).
I'm pretty much at a loss here. What do I do, and what information does anybody need to give me advice? ;(
I seem to be double-Natted in the 192.168.* range.
I am only using one modem, though. We trashed the one the ISP sent us and bought the Kraun, which is a modem and router combo with enough connections for all our computers.
When I followed the instructions on the static IP page, it just killed my internet access on this computer. I used the DNS servers from my ISP's support page. However, the guide said my IP should be 192.168.x.x, which I thought wasn't a public IP...so yeah, I'm lost.
I tried setting up the static IP as per that tutorial, but it killed my connection on the computer I did it on. The DNS servers should be correct since I got them off the ISP's page, and anyway it matched the one showed by my router. ;(
I submitted screenshots of this router to the site, by the way, and I also added the default login info as well.
