Hi, I am trying to setup port forwarding so that I can use dyndns service. My Router is Netgear: WGR614v6 Computer is connected to the router via cable (and not wireless).
IP on Computer is: 10.0.2.15 In the LAN network property I change IP to fixed: 10.0.2.19 and enter gateway and subnet mask which I get from ipconfig. After doing this computer can connect to the internet.
Now when I try to set port forwarding in the router, I enter IP 10.0.2.19 but this gives a failure with message: "Server IP address must be a LAN IP address"
Any tips how to solve this issue..?
One more thing I noted, when I go to router admin console, there this computer comes up with IP address 192.168.1.4 but ipconfig -all on the computer shows a diff IP.?
