TrendNET TEW 652BRP (Wireless N)

I use UltraVNC (ports 5900 & 5800) and I recently purchased a TrendNET TEW 652BRP (Wireless N) router replacing a TrendNET TEW 432BRP.  The 432BRP worked fine as did other routers before it.  I have set up a static IP and PFPortChecker tells me that both ports are open.  Several weeks ago I went through the process of submitting a new router to portforward.com but have not heard from them.  I have even tried putting back the 432BRP and it still works fine.  The router software is very similar between my to routers.  Initially, I tried just setting the Virtual Server settings.  I then tried adding UltraVNC to the Special AP section for Port Triggering.  I have tried putting the computer in the DMZ and turning off my Norton Internet Security Firewall.  All have failed.

#1 Did you go to each screen in the router?

#2 Does the screens of this TrendNET TEW 652BRP, look the like the screens of any of the other TrendNET routers?

#2 - I looked at all Trendnet routers on portforward.com.  The TEW-632BRP is a close match.

#2 These two routers (TrendNET TEW 652BRP and TrendNET TEW 432BRP) are not connected to each other?

#1 - I have followed the Trendnet TEW-632BRP in the past and just went through it again.  The only difference being that I added the 5800 configuration and page 19 ofhttp://www.jims-Place.com/files/TrendNet_TEW-652BRP_Wireless_N_Screenshots.pdf now also includes the 5800 configurations for TCP & UDP.  It still doesn't work.  Also using DMZ still doesn't work.

#2 - My connection is Internet => Cable Modem => TrendNET TEW 652BRP => Wired to an HP desktop running XP.

#1 Disable UPnP in the router.

#2 Are you on/with the same ISP?

#3 Are any IP Filters enabled?

#4 Before using the DMZ, did you stop forwarding the ports?

#5 I saw what firmware you are on and compared it to the most to-date firmware

#2 Same ISP.  As I switch between the 652BRP and the 432BRP, the external ip address changes and the intranet ip addresses change

#3 No ip filters

#4 Tried DMZ with port forwarding disabled, didn't work

#5 Updated firmware, didn't help

#1 If you desire to, you could have the 432BRP handle the public IP and for the other router follow this..

#1 - Dual routers is not an option, the 432BRP travels and is not always here.

#2 - Both routers look like

#1 For testing reasons only, do the following..

a) Un-enable all forwarding rules (make them all unchecked).

b) Use the DMZ.

#2 If the port opens, good.

#3 Now Disable DMZ, and re-enable the rules that you disabled earlier.

#4 Then at Access -> Firewall Settings, keep on trying different settings until it works.

NAT Endpoint Filtering, UDP currently set to Address Restricted. Try, Endpoint Independent.

If that does not work, try Port And Address Restricted.
